Excessive arcs, arbitrary curves, compound bends and arcs greater than 180° should be avoided when designing and arranging pipes.  The large arc not only makes the tooling bulky, but also is limited by the size of the pipe bender machine.  Arbitrary curve, composite bending design shape is very unreasonable, greatly hindered mechanization, automatic production, so that the operator is difficult to get rid of heavy physical labor;  The arc greater than 180° makes the bending machine unable to unload the mold.  

Bending radius should be as far as possible to achieve "one tube one mold" and "multiple tubes one mold".  For a pipe, no matter how many bends there are, the bending radius can only be one, because the pipe bender does not change modules in the bending process, which is "one pipe one mold".  And "multi-pipe and one-mold", that is, the tubes of the same diameter should adopt the same bending radius as far as possible, that is, the same set of modules should be used to bend tubes of different shapes, so as to reduce the number of modules.  

The bending radius of the catheter determines the resistance of the catheter during bending.  Generally speaking, the diameter of the pipe is large and the bending radius is small, so it is easy to wrinkle and slip when bending, and the bending quality is difficult to guarantee. Therefore, it is better to choose the R value of the bending mold as 2-3 times the diameter of the pipe.  

The main influence of bending forming speed on forming quality is as follows: it is easy to cause the flattening of the bending part of the pipe, and the roundness can not meet the requirements, resulting in the cracking and breaking of the pipe;  If the speed is too slow, it is easy to cause wrinkling of the pipe and slipping of the compression block, and the pipe with large diameter is easy to form subsidence of the bending part of the pipe.  In view of the large number of tests on these two CNC pipe bending machines, it is advisable to determine the bending speed of the pipe to be 20%-40% of the machine's large bending speed.
